Biography —
As a Graduate Enrollment Coordinator, Hunter plays a key role in supporting the institution's Graduate Enrollment Management (GEM) and Competency-Based Education (CBE) initiatives. Their primary responsibilities include collaborating with GEM to develop streamlined application and admission processes for CBE programs and providing project management support for the team.
Hunter joined Graduate Admissions in October 2021 as a Graduate Admissions Specialist before transitioning to their current role in October 2024. Their time with the unit has reinforced their love of learning and professional development. In 2021, they earned a master's degree in public history from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Two years later, they earned a graduate certificate in project management and completed KU's Aspiring Leaders Program. Hunter is also an active member of NAGAP, a national organization focused on advancing GEM professionals, and has attended NAGAP professional development institutes, summits, and events.
